Det hade under hela f\u00f6rsta delen f\u00f6rekommit en livlig debatt om den h\u00f6ga alkohol konsumtionen i Sverige. Nykterhetsr\u00f6relsen v\u00e4xte sig allt starkare. P\u00e5 <strong>Ja-sidan<\/strong> stod nykterhetsorganisationerna och <strong>Nej-sidan<\/strong> var betydligt svagare, men anv\u00e4nde sig av bland annat av Albert Engstr\u00f6ms k\u00e4nda affisch med texten &#8221;kr\u00e4ftor kr\u00e4va dessa starka drycker&#8221; och Ja-sidan anv\u00e4nde sig av texter som &#8221; spritfloden dr\u00e4nker hem och familjelycka&#8221;&nbsp; Nej- sidan vann.
